Boerne, Texas based artist, author, and sculptor, Gilbert E. Barrera, known for creating memorable Iconic sculptures. From his larger than life "Lady Justice" in front of the courthouse in San Antonio, Texas, to his medium sized "Lady Justice" located in Sherman, Texas, to the tabletop "Lady Justice"; each is exquisite, and the hand applied gold leafing is immaculate. While Barrera creates his works, he also documents and publishes books on not only the process but also the history and reasoning behind the design, pulling from the ancient Greeks.
